Guest Triniswthrt Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Alright so I bought a unlocked Mpx200,originally for AT&T but i use cingular, runs on the windows upgrade (did that myself) , the roaming triangle is always on, is it actually charging for roaming or is it some sort of glitch due to the merging of the companies or because it's unlocked? HELP!...dont want a big bill!! Thanks!

Thanks! the unlock thing does'nt have to do anything with the roaming reminder, it is probably caused by the two systems merging together and not yet been able to fully configure the system and i don't think that i will charge you for roaming.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Best thing is to contact your provider to clarify the situation. BTW Welcome to the site
Guest phonesmarts Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 According to Cingular/AT&T (it was a newsletter months ago) you will NOT be charged for roaming if you see the Cingular icon. I believe that someday there will be an update so that 'Cingular Wireless' does not count as roaming. BTW: There were no roaming charges on my last bill, and half the time I was operating under Cingular.
