Guest rav1patel Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 when using a 2.5m to 3.5mm adaptor on my c500 (so i can use my own headphones) the sound seems to come out mono. the right output is loud while the left output is barely audible. when using the handsfree the output is even stereo, just as it should be. has anyone else had this problem? im not sure if the problem is with the adaptor (99p from maplins) or the phone ?

Its not a problem with your adaptor or your phone, its simply that this is not meant to be done, have you taken into consideration that the same jack is in use for a microphone too, think about it and you will see where your problem lies. you are trying to convert a input/output connectoion into output without thinking about what is really going on. it will take a specialist adaptor to convert it proply :cry:
