OK I know this has probably been asked before, but since its release, the C500 has had an update and havent got time to read through the whole thread to find out whats been fixed etc.

Is it worth ditching my E200 and buying a C500 or not? - What are the main bugs ie- T9, Bt etc

Not aksing for an essay...just pointers would be great - Thanks.

I have a E200 and no first hand experience of a C500, but from what I've read I would buy it with confidence (that's if I don't go for a M2000 =p~ ).

I swapped my E200 for a C500 and have don't really have any regrets, the only downsides are the fact that multipress doesn't work on the keypad and that the joypad isn't as good for gaming as the E200's joystick. Otherwise, the C500 is so much lighter and smaller than the E200. It also feels more solid and better built than the E200

my E200's joystick is driving me mad! the 4 button repeating is well-documented and not too bad because it's a minor key; but when the joystick either fails to respond or goes in the wrong direction it is enough to drive me insane. i've only had the bugger for 9 months and this has been going on since about 4 months into my ownership. think i'd better get me on the phone to retentions...

Had my C500 for a couple of days and it miles better than my old E200. Just trying to figure old the quirks in using voice dialing on a BT headset but apart from that no probs. De cert'ed it within 5 mins of getting it.

the c500 is far better than the e200

only problem with c500 imo is

mini sd card

joystick - is annoying, simple as that

multipress - what was htc thinking of!

dust issue - if you get an older model the c500 will be infested with dust under the screen
