Smartphone Memory and Storage?

I have recently upgraded to an Orange SPV c500. When looking in about, I have the following:

Available Storage: 19.72MB

Total Storage: 27.98MB

Available Memory: 3.16MB

Total Memory: 21.62MB

I also have the 16MB SD Card plugged in, but this does not seem to make a difference to the above. Can someone explain what the above details mean / apply to, and where I can see the SD storage usage :?:

There is a built in Fila Manager in Accessories but the best way to view storage space is with Task manager from www.binarys.com

Looking in SWettingsAbout can just be confusing and will also not

display the storage card.

Hi there! :lol: Storage is your phone storage capacity (32MB on C500). Your storage card is extra storage to this. m

Memory is your phones operating memory (like RAM in a PC).

You can also veiw system properties like this using binarys task manager.
