Homescreen designer image resolutions

Hi,

Ive just started using this software, however ive found that images of the same resolution look pixelated in the startup,shut down and missed call screens.

Could someone please give me the number of pixels in height i width i need to produce quilty images.

I used 200x176 for the main screen, that looks perfect, but the same image looks distorted on the shut down screen.

Startup and shutdown use the whole screen i.e. 176x220 pixels.

Thanks crafty, i tried changing the resolution but the image still looks dotty, any ideas?

well you could do it 'the hard way' and just use the origional 176x220 image by designating it in the registry. If you wanna do that then the startup image is designated by these keys:

HKLM,SoftwareMicrosoftSplash Screen, CarrierBitmap   &


HKLM,SoftwareMicrosoftSplash Screen, MSBitmap[/code]




and the shutdown screens by:

just put the image somewhere on your phone and then enter that location as the value data in the above reg keys. Restart and robert's your father's brother.
