Hi

Can anybody help or advise?

I have re-arranged my start menu using explorer on my desktop, and nearly everything has worked OK. However the calendar link on my homescreen no longer works and an error reports: "Error opening shortcut or locating the target filename."

This occurs when I click on either of the two options 'Today' or 'New appointment'.

How do I go about fixing this broken shortcut? I have tried to look for the file that represents the shortcut but I have no idea what I am looking for or where it might be.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Hello again

I have since tried changing the registry details for StartMRU by prefixing the calendar.lnk with the folder I moved it to, but I am still receiving the same error!

If someone could advise me how to solve this it would be much appreciated.

Kind regards

for glanv:

you need to have TWO extra, blank lines [enter, enter] after the last .lnk entered in the registry key

Thanks XePeR

I tried the two extra lines but it doesn't seem to have solved it. Anyway, I have downloaded a new homescreen and everything works OK.

Many thanks for your help!
