Does display auto-turn off when the clamshell is closed?

Does the display automatically turn itself off when the clamshell is

closed?

If so, I guess there is no need to set a timeout for the backlight(?).

After all, the assumption is that when the clamshell is open, you

want to use the phone...

PLus I don't make long duration calls anyway... don't mind leaving the

backlight on while talking on the phone...

yes, it does automatically turns off the dispay when you close the clamshell.

setting the display timeout to 30 seconds or one minuite would help you save battery if you forgot to close you flip. :lol:
