Guest Swagger Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 I this in another thread: As smittyofdhs says the C500 has a caller id prog built in, look in the Orange folder on your start menue for 'Caller Photo ID'. Attached is a zip file containing another file called Fullscreen.pit - if you extract this on your PC and place the PIT file in StorageMy DocumentsIA Caller ID Photos then you'll be able to to set full screen photos in the caller id app. My question is, can I do this on the phone itself with File Manager, or do I have to use my PC as stated? Thanks.
Guest Confucious Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Ahould be able to do it on yopur phone. Try it and let us know.
Guest Swagger Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Can I do serious damage by trying it?
Guest Confucious Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I suppose you could drop your phone in some water while trying to do it, or if you do it while crossing the road you could get run over by a car (or even a bus or lorry) or if you try it while drivimng you couls crash. So there are lots of ways you "could" dio serious dammage by trying it but I fail to see how you could think that following the above instruction on your phone rather than your PC could possibly cause damage ?
Guest Swagger Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 No need to get sarcastic. I'm new to the world of smartphones, thus a little scared of messing with settings. On top of that, my operator does not support the C500, so I don't have someone to turn to if things go wrong. There.
