c500 installing on college network

Hi let me explain my problem

I want to use my c500 as a memory drive so that i can transfer files between home and college. However i dont know the easiest way of doing this. Do i need to install active sync as i dont think i will be allowed to do this or is there an easier way using just drivers?

Activesync would be the best way. Maybe if you explain that it is a standard Microsoft program (downloadable from the Microsoft website) they may allow you install it.

Another way would be using an SD card reader.

is there no way just to get drivers for it without installing active sync?
