Guest bennybenz Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Maybe there's an obvious answer to this question, since I couldn't find it being discussed at all in these forums. How can applications be installed onto the miniSD storage card rather than on the phone's memory (using .CAB file)? With a Pocket PC, a program called CabInstl did the trick. Thank you.
Guest martin Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Welcome bennybenz If you click on FAQ on then go to the 'First 48 hours' topic, you will find some instructions for loading different file types to the smartphone (plus lots of other good hints and tips)
Guest Johnny Yen Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Short answer is to hit 'right' on the joystick to switch installation option from phone to card

Thank you. when you execute the cab file in you phone it will ask you where you want to install the application, you can choose between "Storage Card" or IPSM. you should then choose storage card. cheers
