Anyone please help? I have managed to get O2 GPRS to work by the O2 pay and go internet setting which Martin posted, however the internet explorer only accepts the http content. Every time I tried to open the wap page, I got the message "the file cannot be viewed on the device. Anyone has the same problem?

Also access internet via O2 dial up did not work with the internet explorer as well. After a long "finding sites", it ended up with a message "the page can not be found". I used agile messenger via O2 dial up, it works fine. I really have no idea, anyone please help me?

With O2 WAP you have to change the proxy settings to switch between Port 8080, Type=HTTP (HTML) and 9201, Type=WAP (WML)

Rather than edit the proxy settings everytime you want to change the page type you could create 2 proxy connections i.e

O2 proxy HTML= Connects from: The internet, Connects to: WAP network, Proxy: 193.113.200.195:8080, Type=HTTP

O2 proxy WML= Connects from: The internet, Connects to: Secure WAP network, Proxy: 193.113.200.195:9201, Type=WAP

In data connections make both WAP network and secure WAP network = O2 GPRS WAP

In Internet EXplorer, untick 'Auto detect settings' and then just select WAP network OR Secure WAP network as required

The O2 CSD connection could be used and an Internet connection in the past but it looks like O2 have finally got round to blocking it. It seems the O2 CSD now has to be used with the WAP proxy server  Try setting WAP connection to O2 CSD (instead of O2 GPRS WAP) and you will find that you can access pages again.

Not sure why some of MSN Messenger still works with O2 CSD (without proxy) ? Maybe it uses something they haven't blocked yet.

Thanks Martin, you are a star, I just like live again ! it all working now, except I have to use O2 DSC for secure WAP connection instead of O2 GPRS, because somehow O2 GPRS didn't seem to work. I wonder which one between PAP and CHAP authentication I should set to in GPRS authentication.

Also I can not log in my yahoo mail ( HTML mode ). It kept saying that I am using a wrong password, even though I am certain that I put in all correct details and I have tried again and again many times but it's still the same. I wonder anyone have the same problem? :?:

The Yahoo problem occurs because the first character isn't entered correctly. Simply delete it and enter it again. Then Yahoor away...
