Auto key lock

Is there a way to have the phone go into auto key lock mode afer several min. of standby? Or is it only manual key lock by holding down the phone end botton? thanks.

On SP2002 units, keypads lock once a screensaver is playing so literally the phone behaves as though you have manually locked it. To exit screensaver mode, you press either the left or right soft key. :lol:

On the SMT5600, you go to Start - Settings - Enable Phone Lock and adjust the timeout and password to lock your phone.

will you have to enter a password everytime to unlock it? and will it act as keypad lock? I don't want to "lock" the phone, just the keypads.

It automatically locks your keypad after a set time. You'd then have to enter a password to unlock it. Incidentally, you will still get messages and phone calls just like you did when you held down the red receiver button.

:? UGGHHHH... That's what I thought. I don't want to have to enter so many keys just to start using the phone. I guess i'll just still with the manual method.

The screensaver thinggy serves an advantage along those aspects (Oh well except for the power management-battery issue). :lol:
