Guest grumpy_old_technobyte Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Can the T9 library of words be edited? I can add my slang all day, but can i remove some words that didnt come out right as well? currently, i im going through a list of messed up word entries before i get the one i wanna use!Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Johnny Yen Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 There's no way to edit the dictionary, but eventually you'll lose the error entries as you retrain the priority settings. Or something like that..
Guest dodding nonkey Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Beg to differ old chap, there IS software for editing the t9 dictionary, called msT9ed. If only I could remember where I downloaded it from I'd tell you  I've tried doing a search for a thread about it on here, but I can't find it. It may have been on coolsmartphone.com, perhaps someone can help out with that, I'm sure somebody else must have it.
Guest Johnny Yen Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 This is it : http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=1090...9061&highlight= Check the last page though, as the co-developers admit to it not working working with the C500.
Guest Confucious Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 Johnny is, as usual, right. There is no way to edit the custom dictionary on the C500 which is a pain. You can delete it but not edit it.
Guest schmeegle Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 should have searched for this before posting, sorry! how do i delete the dictionary?
