Guest bren Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I seem to have inadvertantly deleted the IPSM directory from my C500. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might recover from this? Thanks
Guest ronny Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 I seem to have inadvertantly deleted the IPSM directory from my C500. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might recover from this? Thanks i don't know if its possible for someone to delete the whole ipsm folder. but if you do have deleted it, the only way to recover from this would be to do a hard reset. or ithink the phone would automaticaly do a partial reset when you switched on your phone.
Guest Confucious Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Are you kidding? The e200 has an IPSM directory but the C500 doesn't - unless I am very much mistaken.....
Guest Johnny Yen Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Only slightly mistaken, mate, as the E200 had the Storage folder too. The IPSM folder was a feature only of SP2002 phones ; the SPV, E100 and MPx200 etc. So Bren, if you've got a Storage folder (not to confuse this with Storage Card) then you've got a full set
Guest nedge2k Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Correct  IPSM = SPV Classic/E100 (SP2002) Storage = E200/C500 (WM2003/SE)
Guest bren Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 Thanks for the quick responses folks. I think the confusion has arisen because the C500 manual in the box refers to the IPSM directory for storing new homescreens etc. Thanks
Guest Confucious Posted December 4, 2004 Report Posted December 4, 2004 You read the manual????
