Pocket PC Thoughts MPX Rumour

Pocket PC Thoughts have got "semi" official comment from Motorola that the release date for the MPX will be before the end of the year in SE Asia. However this release will only be with the 32Mb RAM memory. This poses a serious blow to anyone wanting to run anything slightly more demanding or 2 programs at once on the phone. (EVEN MY CASSIOPIEA E-200 HAS GOT 64mb of RAM!).

Personally I've already registered my disgust on the forum if this folly by Motorola is going ahead. It would be nice everyone else interested in the MPX and concerned about the memory situation, to post on the forum (or this one is just as good).

As they have already decided to ship by the end of the year comenting now is a bit on the late side as they will not recall and scrap x ammount of units at this late stage in the day so they can then put back the release date even more and lose even more money.

All we can do is wait to see what the final device will be like and how usable it actually is.

It's a motorola and there is no MPX section on the site.

I agree that this would probably rest snuggly in one of the Pocket PC sections (Main or News?).

If you notice the date it is before the site revamp where it was not possible to move posts to the PPC section.

This is an old outdated post and so it is not practicle to hunt through all posts on the site in the attempt to move just one or two rogue posts.
