Hi newbie here,

Bought a c500 a few days ago and have set up email with my gmail account. It works fine but just doesnt automaticlly download my emails. Ive set it to every 15 mins but it doesnt work. i have to go to send/recieve to get them.

Ive searched alot and stayed up til the early hours looking for a solution  so any help would be appreciated

Exactly the same problem here. Can anybody help on this? I've searched extensively for a solution both in these forums and on the internet in general and I've not found a solution. Please help. Thx

According to some, it works for a while, then won't work until a reboot. Mine has worked flawlessly. The caveats are that the messaging app must be open and running in the background, and secondly, the account that is last viewed on the screen is the only one that will be updated. If you wish for another account to be auto-checked, you must simply switch accounts. This can be easily accompished by a left or right click to "scroll" sideways through your accounts (POP3, outlook email, etc.).
