SPV C500 problems sorted

I posted here a month or so ago about the problems I was having with my SPV - very sluggish response to key presses, unpredictable (but usually 24 hrs or less) battery life, etc. These responded to turning the phone off and back on again but the problems would return after a couple of hours.

I finally got fed up with this and rang up orange. They did some diagnostics on the phone over the air, told me that my battery and SD card were fine but the software was 'broken' - whatever that means - and arranged a courier to replace the phone.

OK the courier didn't come the first time but now I have a working SPV with an incredible battery life and no key press problem. I just have no idea why I didn't sort this out sooner.

what the hell does software broken mean, htc can talk alot of crap sometimes

all i can think that means is that it just need flashed again or hard reset

did they charge you?
