Need to keep each address book seperate but we both use the same machine for emails? Any thoughts? J you can create 2 or even more profiles in outlook, so you would have separate profiles for each device. you can do this by opening control panel in your pc > then double click mail > then show profiles > then add. then make sure that "prompt for a profile to be used" is selected. cheers
Guest tnguk Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 do we then need to switch between users to be able to use outlook?
Guest ronny Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 do we then need to switch between users to be able to use outlook? no you dont need to, outlook will always ask you as to what profile to use before it starts and syncs your data. note: make sure that "prompt for a profile to be used" is selected.
Guest larsdennert Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 You can also modify activesync to only sync certain contacts for each profile if you have them categorized. That might work.
