Dust inside camera lens

Just got a brand new C500 from Orange and when I zoom in in Video mode I can see quite a few dust particles showing up on the screen, (especially when in night mode). The dust is definately not on the outside of the lens.

I've also got a dead pixel.

Grounds for a replacement?

ps. I noticed that the battery was fully charged when it arrived so I'm thinking it's not such a "brand new" phone afterall!

well if you are sure its a dead pixel then yes

they might say its only 1 and doesnt affect phone use etc, just hassle them, they will replace it

a lot of memebers here report their phone was fully chareged when opened

it seems the c500 are shipped back and fourth alot

Both mine, my dads and my friends phone were all fully charged when pruchased.

Are you sure its dust? When you zoom in you do get a lot of distortion on the picture.

Yeah it's definately dust.....looks like those orb things that people think are ghosts! They get bigger when you zoom in to x2 magnification. Quite annoying.
