Is it possible to increase available memory?

i have an E200 running SP2003. even though my storage is only 40% full (12 MB used out of 30MB), according to Resco Explorer my program memory is at 57% and worse my storage memory is 85% full (0.7MB available, 0.63MB used).

is there any way to increase the memory available? i think i recall that before i got my card and had the storage much fuller, the amount of memory available was correspondingly less.

any ideas?

I doubt very much that you are only using 40% of the memory!

The main problem with the unofficial 2003 update is that it leaves the device with very little free memory for running programs etc. If you are having memory problems i would suggest you look to change back to the 2002 rom!

errr....

well my phone tells me in terms that i am using precisely 40% of the storage. (i also have a 256MB card which is 78% full).

and E200 came with SP2003 - the only rom updates i have are from the orange site - surely that's the official one?

sorry i misread! i thought you had installed 2003 on your e100!

if you have memory problems you could hard reset and infuture install everything to the storage card
