Guest AvWijk Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I saw it at Mediamarkt Utrecht, I played played with it. Very cool device, amazingly fast, although the camera quality is not optimal. I took this photo: The lightning conditions didn't seem to be good either.
Guest Pigo Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I saw them both as dummies in a store. do have to say... I'm impressed with both of them. MDA compact is smaller than I thought. might be worth getting actually. Pigo
Guest mwille Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 T-mobile sells the MDA compact only WITH simlock in the Netherlands apparently.. Upon asking the shopmanager if buying a loose unit (no contract) would be possible the answer was "Yes, but the simlock stays on" Riiiight... like I'll switch to their bad network just to be able to use their MDA Compact.. Thank god for Qtek and Imate :)
Guest peekie Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 The dixons ( nl ) shops now have the sda and the mda compact so you can see them and play with them as well
Guest Pigo Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 in the mean time I've seen them both. for real that is. yet again.. very impressed. like the MDA compact A LOT!!!! friend of mine got himself a Pocket PC. so I sort of got addicted to a larger screen, but the device sizes scare me away. but this the perfect middle step between a smartphone and PPCPE phone. If I can get a sim-un-locked version of it (or just the I-mate version) then I might get it :) free 256Mb card with the SDA & MDA compact by the way.. one thing T-mobile did right Pigo
