Guest nazsp33d Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 I have been wanting a O2 XDA2 because of its GPS and i was searching ebay to see how much i could sell my E200 for and I came across the Tomtom Mobile Bluetooth GPS SAT NAV for the Nokia 6600 and the E200. Now has anyone tried this on there E200? I know from the last time i came here that the E200s Bluetooth problem was still on going. Is it worth it to buy the Tomtom Mobile Bluetooth GPS SAT NAV for £150? Does it actually work? Thanks.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Guess you have been away for too long :) have a look in the News section there is a review dating back from the middle of September, and just a few pages of posts relating to TomTom Mobile. The app works really well and I have been using it on the E200 and C500 for quite a few months now without any problems.
Guest chazzer Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 On the strength of a few reviews (Yours and the guy who runs coosmartphone.com) I bought TomTom for my C500. Software installed great, but like everybody in most of the forums I am having big problems with getting the Bluetooth to connect. My C500 sees the TomTom GPS no problem but the TomTom software reports no GPS device (and the GPS BT light flashes rather than stays on). I have read and tried the advice you have given in one of the other threads, but to no avail. Help I don't want to find I have wasted 170 squid.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 You need to follow my guide to the letter otherwise it will not work. I would not say that every one is having problems as long as they take their time :) Just remember to remove the gps from devices and do not get the bt to search for it, just let tt do the work. Any problems please continue in the TomTom post in News.
