Problem with the silent button ringer

Hello i am new here in the forum, i just got Moto MPX220 and i found a problem when the phone rings the volume button silence the ringer, but when i receive the call the other partner cannot hear me. i dont know why i restart the phone it continues working fine until i silence a call again the mic doesnet work.

and another question how to cancel a call when the flip is closed ??
