Guest kemot1984 Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I used the alarm plugin for my homescreen. However, after a hard reset and reinstallation of the plugin I get "Read registry problem" on my homescreen. Anyone knows why? By the way: anyone know where to get a good alarm plugin compatible with C500? There is a one version on the net, but it's not too good as I couldn't change the colour of the display text that comes from the plugin.
Guest chucky.egg Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 The "Read" error could be because you've never set your alarm. If you set it to a time, and turn it on, then turn it off again it might get rid of the message. There is a WM2003 version by ... Midnight (I think!) have a search for "2003 alarm plugin"
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 Smartphone 2003 Alarm Plug-in by Richie M :) http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=117153
Guest Richie M Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 grrr I should think so too Chucky :D The "Read Registry" error is created basically because you have not set the alarm since the hard reset, the registry key for the alarm isnt written untill it is set at least once - therefore if its not there the plug-in cant read it :( BTW I'm in the process of recoding the 2003 version of the plug-in (but have ran into a few problems ) so keep your eyes peeled for a new version :( "There is a one version on the net" if you downloaded it from somewhere else what do you expect :) I only post here and other sites steal it :P so shame on them and you for going elsewhere :(
