Guest ricardo the fish Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 I have had an MPx200 for a couple of months now and I am pretty sure I have all i need for it. But, (there's always a 'but' isn't there), I still don't know weatehr or not my phone will be able to recieve polyphonic or real ring tones. Most sites/companies selling tones don't show the MPx200 as a compatible phone. Also saying that there seems no sites out there in the big wide web that has any smartphones as compatible for ringtones, backgrouds etc... Have I not been looking in the right places, or, do these people not know of the somewhat useful Smartphone machines?
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 Welcome to the forum :( We don't get involved with that commercial rubbish mate, we make our own  Your MPx200 can play wavs or MIDI (MID0 format only) ringtones and you'll find an awesome collection in the Customisation section here. Or you could simply Google for them. Best of all, make your own. See the guide here. It really is easy. Similarly for backgrounds. Find your picture (just been doing my holiday snaps) and resize it to 176x220 with the free Irfanview on your PC. Copy them across when connected via ActiveSync. Again, have a look in the Customisation - Downloads section here for an excellent collection of ready-made skins / themes. :)
