Guest Wiseguy Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 Hey, this may be already known but i remember ages ago ppl tring to find out the transmitting distance of infra-red on the spv. Well i've got the c500 now and when i transmit through infrared on my dell inspiron 8600 i can transmit up to about 2 metres then its a case of lining up the infrared and keeping it steady. The distance is quite large and a tv may probably be placed maybe 1 more metre away but as only a small signal is required i think maybe if it can be boosted and with decent accuracy maybe it could work, well with my notebook if not anything else :) . So what do you guys make of it.

Guest MoRFLeZ Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 ROFLMAO you guys *chuckles* Anyways ... not to burst your bubble or anything Wiseguy .. but the problem has very very little (if any) to do with the distance to the telly! Read up on aaaaaall the other threads and you'll know it's just not possible
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 Oh grow up you too ! :wink:amplifier.jpg
