How to adjust the timing of the main battery warning screen

When the "Main battery low" warning screen pops up, it makes the voice recorder stop recording. This is annoying. Anyone know how to make the battery warning come up only when it is below 20% or 10% etc...?

You can alter the timing in the registry but it is not advisable to do as the battery warning is there for good reason.

Below a certain level you can encounter the phone not reading from the SD card and you are at risk from suffering from

partial resets which will result in you having to do a hard reset to get you phone working properly again.
