IMAP4 to Outlook

I've got my IMAP settings sorted and i get emails on the fone [c500]. but how do i get the emails across to outlook on my computer. it only syncs witht the outlook email section on the phoe, which i dont use!

The way it works with POP3 is that it leaves the messages alone on the server so you just collect your emails fom your POP3 serva via outlook as normal, it doesn't sync what has been received on your phone with the PC.
