RemoteDSP on C500

I can't get the RemoteDSP program to work with my C500. When it installs on the handset it says "this software was inteneded for this device".

Has anyone got this working?

Are you sure it's an MS smartphone application and not PocketPC application that you downloaded ?

Do you have link to the software ?

I use SOTI http://www.soti.net/ works well and seems to refresh well.

Isn't the clue in the error message? remoteDSP is for PocketPCs NOT Smartphones - unless I am very much mistaken

RemoteDSP, like the Microsoft theme generator, worked for the original SPV, but not for the C500 - I presume it's a smartphone 2003 thing. RemoteDSP was obviously intended for pocket PC - you couldn't even see the whole dialogue box on the screen; but it did do the trick.

I posted a while ago to see if anyone knew of new versions, but didn't get any luck.

Off to try SOTI now though!

I just read this and although I'm not interested in Soti, I purchase Lexionary last night and was very happy with the exchange rate. It does seem to be a very good time for us in the UK to by US software with the rate at nearly 1.9:1 (I still mentally convert at 1.5:1 so was pleasantly suprised):(
