Bluetooth problems - tried the normal suggestions

Hi,

I'm a new SPV C500 user, and I have been having a few problems with Bluetooth.

I couldn't get anything to send or receive via Bluetooth until I read some other posts. I enabled "receive incoming beams" and I was able to send and receive contacts and appointments to and from my PDA, T610 and PC. I am still unable to send pictures using built in file manager, although I can receive them.

When I click on send via IR (logical :?) the Bluetooth search says "searching" and it just sits there doing nothing. I tried smart explorer and that finds Bluetooth devices but I can only send pictures to my PC, but not T610.

Any idea's?

If I leave "receive incoming beams" on, does it use more battery power, by keeping IR on?

Is there anyway to send files to paired devices without them having to be discoverable, like the T610?
