Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 i read something about application lock? something the makers of the fone have put on to stop people installing osftwrae on there fone? It's not as bad as it sounds, the application lock is designed so that only signed software (software that has been tested and deemed safe) can run on the phone without any problems. Removing the application lock can potentially open the phone to rogue code that can cause possible instability on the phone. You will find that most people do unlock their phones anyway :)
