Battery Life on sp3i

Hello all - i've had my sp3i for about two weeks and i don't find the battery life to be all that good. i have it set to retrieve emails every 2 hours - i read a book and news for about an hour play video games for a bout a half hour and talk on the phone for about 10 mins and by 10pm the battery is dead. my sony p900 lasted longer than that - what do you guys think? i'm wondering if there is some setting that is causing me to loose battery life because i heard the phone was supposed to be excellent.
