Guest peekie Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 I've just got an mpx200 ok maybe abit late but it came with an original motorola case pictured bellow
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Wish I had one when I bought my MPX200 :) Looks good and offers more protection than the krussel case.
Guest ronny Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 Wish I had one when I bought my MPX200 :) Looks good and offers more protection than the krussel case. oh yes it looks good, but the keypad or bottom part of the case becomes loose and always slides out when you use it for a few months, and it leaves a nasty scratch in the back part of the phone where the case button is located. so now i'm not using it anymore. :(
Guest s0tz Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 awarner u mean ur package doesn't comes with it? yup the case does protect the phone in alot of ways but in the end it sort of "disfigure" the part above the battery cover with awful scratches..
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 Yep in the UK we did not have any form of case at all, but I was very lucky that another member of the site gave me their old Krussel case after they returned their MPX200 on a warratny claim.
Guest Beanie Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 man, im in the U.S. and still didnt get the case :x
Guest sanada Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 I just got the Mpx200 in M'sia & it comes with the case. But god damn it's ugly......fugly to a certain extent. I mean how can one cover the beauty of the Mpx200's piano finish under that horrendous fake leather. Though i do like the clip part.
Guest BGupta Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 I got this case with my MPx200. The swivel clamp, the most cruicial part which connects the moto with the clip, is hope less. The plastic button was broken in two weeks. A couple of times the phone fell from the clip. I threw it in the third week and bought a Krusell, with similar design but much better construction. No problems even after 6 months.
Guest alghazi30 Posted February 26, 2005 Report Posted February 26, 2005 Any ideas on were i can get tha krussel case u talking about. am livng in singapore by the way, The clip broke a month back n i've been looking for a suitable replacement.
Guest Robbyaf Posted February 26, 2005 Report Posted February 26, 2005 (edited) Yep in the UK we did not have any form of case at all, but I was very lucky that another member of the site gave me their old Krussel case after they returned their MPX200 on a warratny claim. I'm From UK and mine came with the case, from Phones4U. It didn't last long though, the Swivel clip broke after about a month. I tried the Krussel case, but the clip holping the swivel clip on broke, I'm now using a cheap case I got from E-bay - it's simple, but seems fairly robust.... So far!! Guest fooldramaqueen Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 I'm From UK and mine came with the case, from Phones4U. Mine too! From Carphone Warehouse, though. Seems very robust so far! -Jenny.
Guest farby Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Mine too! From Carphone Warehouse, though. Seems very robust so far! -Jenny. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi! I got mine with the case too but the elastic joint between the two halves got so loose within a month of use that when I flip open the cell it gets in way of the hinge and I had to manually pull it out of way to open the cell fully. Now I have discarded it as its too tedious
Guest moosery Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 put mine in the bin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> case, or phone? ;)
Guest tendomentis Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 My triband model from simoncells.com came with that case, but it doesn't fit perfectly and not as solid feeling as the latest generation Krussel case for my Moto. I still wish that they would create a case that I could leave on when I drop my phone in it's cradle at my office...
Guest monkeyjabber Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 I'm using a silver neoprene (fake leather) case I bought on Ebay for less than $5 plus shipping, and I've had no problems. Its kinda funky looking, not elegant, but its durable, well made, and does a good job of protecting the phone. The case fits very snugly, the top part that goes over the screen is practically glued on. Its much easier the carry the phone if its got a good case. My only complaint is that the belt clip won't fit wide belts and the release button is a little stiff, but its a "universal" type clip, so the button will fit other standard belt clips.
Guest farby Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 case, or phone? ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mate, we are talking about the case ofcourse!!
