My c500 looks dead - no led anymore - searching for help

Hello,

I charged my c500 last night. When I woke up I disconnect the power adaptor and tried to power it up.

It never came back...no light, no sound, no led !

The only signal I receive is a flashing red led if I connect it to the power adaptor without battery. It simply looks dead ?!

The c500 is not distributed in belgium so I had to buy it on ebay. It is a Orange UK version.

This means that I don't have any warranty.

Would anyone know if I could benefit from someone else's orange warranty ?

I don't have access to any repair center from here (in belgium).

Could just be a duff battery, which you might be able to pick up quite cheap (cheaper than sending the thing off to HTC anyways)

Had a simular problem with my nokia 6230.

It was the springy connections that touched the batery.

I pulled them a bit with a paper clip put it all back together and all worked fine.
