Guest Darkwun Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 i'm having problems syncin my c500 with my laptop, i've installed activesync 3.7.1 and whenever i try and connect via usb it will recognize the phone the activesync sign will turn green and spin but then just stop and the phone wont be connected, i've tried switching com ports, tried using different usb ports uninstalling and reinstalling activesync and still no luck, i tried syncin it with my dads pcs and it worked, my mums pc and it worked, even on my friends laptop and it works but when i try it on mine it doesn't connect and its really annoying me is there anyone out there that can help me!!!
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 Its usually either the firewall or the USB hub. Try without either and see how you get on. Don't forget to re-enable the firewall afterwards :wink:
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 The only other thing that can cause problems is if you installed activsync after connecting the phone for the first time instead of installing it first.
