Orange Upgrade Query - Advice Needed

Hey All,

Quick question - if i upgrade my phone on my current contract (OVP O2 400 thats done its 12 months) are there any restriction in me dropping down to a lower tarrif immediately?

I have two contracts with Orange (OVP O2 400 & Orange HSDP) and have already had a free upgraded to the C500 on the HSDP but was wondering if i would get penalised in any way if i got a free upgrade on the OVP tarrif then drop down to a low tarrif straight away?

I have been told by Orange that my combined average spend on these two tarrifs is £46

The Orange upgrade's talkplan migration policy states that once an upgrade has been agreed the customer cannot lower their talkplan to one of lower monthly line rental (in your case £45pm) within the first 6 months. Increases in line rental are of course not affected.
