Guest altugg Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 i know there is an ogg player for smartphones but is there anyone tried this? and if its possible how can i convert my mp3 songs to ogg?
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 You can play OGG files with PocketMusic (as always search first) To convert MP3 or any other format to OGG use dBpowerAMP its free as well you just need to download the OGG codec as well. If you are going to carry a lot of songs on your phone then use MP3 Gain again this is free but this will 'level' all the volumes so that they are all the same. Stops you having to constantly change the volume when playing different songs. Have fun.
Guest lukeap69 Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 hi altugg, betaplayer also plays ogg. it's interface is not as good as pocketmusic but i think it is free. regards, lukeap 69
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Pocket MVP also plays ogg files :)

Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 PocketMusic comes from PocketMind and you will need to buy the software to get a registration number. If you cant get anything from them you can buy PocketMusic from Handango and if you are a Plus member you can get 10% discount as well. To convert MP3 to OGG... To convert MP3 or any other format to OGG use dBpowerAMP its free as well you just need to download the OGG codec as well
