Guest kd_bimmer1 Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 I'm planning on purchasing the Audiovox SMT5600 and wanted to know if anyone has gotten mp3 audio to work over bluetooth headset. I currently have the Jabra BT200 and from what I've been reading on this forum, there are some of you that has it working. Any information would help... I would also like to know, I'm a XDA-II user right now, and I would like to know what changes there will be from the XDA-II, positive and negative.
Guest windmiller Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 I have been able to listen to MP3's over my Jabra BT250 but it sounds like crap so I dont use it. As far as the differences between your XDA and this phone, Ill let someone else go over that but Ill start it out. SMT5600/C500 doesnt have Excel and word built in...........
Guest kd_bimmer1 Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 Jabra BT250 but it sounds like crap so I dont use it. So can you define "sounds like crap", does that mean it has lots of static or what? Of course, I wouldn't be using it all the time just on some occasions. Yea, I wouldn't use Excel or Word for my use. And to be honest I really don't use it on my PPC.
Guest DrG Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 i have also had it working with the jabra bt250, the sound is very muffled, but listenable. I personally dont think the quality is good enough to bear listening to full tracks although its very cool havin wireless music coming from ya smartphone!
Guest kd_bimmer1 Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Dr. G, what is your overall feeling on your smartphone? Yea, like I said I probably will not be listening to music all of the time, just during work hours and stuff like that.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 My logitech BT headset sounds ok for listening to but to be honest you cannot expect too much from a mono headset designed for voice calls only :)
