Guest Dark Horse Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 If your C500 keypad has loose or wobbly keys, using your fingernail or the full length of a matchstick, press down on the plastic trim between the keys. This pushes the casing down a bit and reduces the amount of lateral travel that the keys have making them far more responsive as they click down even when you press the side.
Guest Chaser81 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 Does anyone have loose keys? I have never experienced this.
Guest floppydonkey Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 or if you are gimp like me, leave your phone by your missus and get her to spill a load of smirnoff ice over the whole phone. Aggggghhhh! 1,47 and * stick when the phone is cold. Praise be the orange care :)
Guest ddocta Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 Some of my keys feel a little wobbly after about a month of regular use. I am gonna try this are some point and see if I notice a difference.

Odd, I had a beer accident* and after initially being sticky the keys ended up being a lot more positive like my old nokia instead of slightly slack (particularly the 6 key) * = Bottle of beer by computer, phone connected via cable to computer, then without touching beer, desk, or cable I managed to knock the beer bottle over. It lightly coat the phone and drenched my trousers - looked like i pissed myself  Still the phone dried out quickly after a quick wipe and has worked better than ever
