Unlock for i-mate SP3?

I apologize if I'm asking a dumb question, but will the C500/SMT5600 unlock work for i-mate SP3 too? http://www.c500-unlock.com/

I used it to unlock my SMT5600 and it worked like a charm.

Well, now I'm thinking about buying i-mate SP3 for a friend of mine who lives in Europe and not sure how to unlock it...

Here is the response I got - well, I'll just have to give it a try with the SP3 :)

Hello,

as far as we know ALL I-MATE devices are NOT SIM LOCKED. So there is no need to unlock if you plan to use different sim cards.
