Guest drage Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Hi 'all, I have just received my T-mobile SDA and it appears that the C500-unlock software does not work: - retrieving SPV unlock Code: 0% - Unexpected answer hideclear 650515 "found a sniffer heh :)" - invallid command: hideclear 650515 "found a sniffer heh :)" - For a help screen, use command ? or h Cmd> - aborting The 3-color bootscreen says: Typhoon IPL 1.00 / Typhoon SPL 1.01.0123. That's it! I've terminated WCESCOMM etc, the works. Is there already sim-unlock software for the SDA, or do I have throw the phone in the closet until it is? Thanks a lot for your feedback!!!

Guest drage Posted December 17, 2004 Report Posted December 17, 2004 Yep, mine is definatively locked and I think it's the logical thing to do for T-mobile: they give you discount on the phone and hope you make enough calls so they can earn it back. Since I have made quite enough calls over their network last year, I think I've earned my unlock code a year early :) I have not yet received an answer from Florin b.t.w. p.s. I'm from The Netherlands.

Mine is't locked anymore! I'm positive the phone initially said: 'please insert correct simcard' (or something like that) and after I put in a t-mobile sim it worked fine. Hence: 'my phone is definately locked'... :( Hehe. Florin is probably wondering what the hell is wrong wit my phone - it seems all SDA's are without a lock, right? I'll drop him a line.

AFAIK the only UK operator that doesn't lock their phones is Vodafone and they are the only operator that I have never used! Posted from my SmartPhone!

I'm interesting in buying a SDA in Germany but I wonder if this device provides others langages than German? English could be a good alternative for me. Is SDA sound quality (buzzer) is the same as i-mate? Is it possible to move screen to a "Microsoft classic homescreen" instead of T-mobile logos? Thanks? :wink:

And, is it possible to install smartphone 2003 second edition all over again in the SDA, so i get the right language pack? I live in scandinavia, and i see none of those languages were listed. Guest serialkillazzs Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 anyone find that there speaker volume is low even with profile up to its loudest and side volume keys up full. done a comparison with mates c500 and bros sp3i, and definately my speaker is low. noticed it when i first got it as my e200 and previous spv were louder. thought media player and beta player volume might be affecting it, but the volume is still fairly low about 90%
