Guest djfuego Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Dunno if this has already been discussed but I've only just found out about it myself; Here's a great way to play any of your music on your phone in anyones car. The FM Transmitter is a great Idea and a cheap solution to the mp3/ogg player on your phone if you don't want to fork out for a spanky in car stereo. I think pretty much all cars have an FM radio in so you don't need to worry about A CD/Tape player.. Plus you could fool your mate into thinking you had your own radio station :). Ok the bad points. The reception with the universal converter that comes with the FM transmitter is too close to the phone and creates too much noise BUT if you have bought the audio jack converter withe the optional hands free output then you get super reception from up to 10 Meters away (Not counting obstructions of course). So anyone in a car around you could pick up the channel. I think this is the best Smartphone buy this year and it's dirt cheap too. Goto E bay to get onemyradio.jpg
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 This unit has been discussed a while ago :) The bottom line is you need to check the law regarding radio transmissions in your country as this unit cannot be legally used in the UK.
