About the MPX220 SIM Unlock

I want to buy a MPX220 from Amazon.

It reads is from Cingular but I want to use another service provider.

Does the cel phone comes without SIM lock (provider Lock)?

I want to know before buy and i'm asking to people who has bought it from there (amazon) or directly from Cingular.

Yes, it comes unlocked already. All Cingular world phones come unlocked. I was stupid and purchased an ATT version and I've been waiting for an unlock code for 2 weeks now. Got a pretty good price for the phone though, 400 USD. So I'm not complaining.
