Guest AceTrey Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Hello Everyone! I am a newbie here @ MoDaCo. This is a really cool website for us folks that have a windows based cell phone. My question is, I just got a "Audiovox 5600" here in the states and was wondering why the "System Information" (using that Windows XP-SPV theme) shows my cell phone as: SmartPhone 2002, Microsoft Windows Version 3.0 (Build 12255) TI OMAP 720 132 Mhz 16/32 MB (FlashRom) Service Pack 1.3.5.6 (UK) --- I thought I had a 200 Mhz CPU!? And 1.3.5.6 (UK)? I am in the US?! Are the specs at PCMag.com incorrect? They show that my phone is supposed to be 200 Mhz but it looks like it isn't!? When I go to the System Info under the task manager, it shows: Total Memory: 23.08 MB Storage Memory: 1.46 MB Program Memory: 21.62 MB Flash Information: Storage: 27.98 MB Device Information: Processor : ARM O.S. : Windows CE Version 4.21 --------------- Can someone tell me what my specs are REALLY supposed to be?
Guest martin Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 You can see the specifications for the SMT 5600 HERE :) I think the 'system information' simply doesn't recognise the new processor.
Guest bitgod Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 Yeah, because obviously, it says it has 2002 on it, when we know it has 2003 SE for the OS. Actually there's one bit of info I'm looking for, anyone know if this has BT 1.1 or 1.2?
Guest Confucious Posted December 16, 2004 Report Posted December 16, 2004 What does it say under Start->Settings->About ?
