Network monitor plugin?

I have Idea :idea: for some good programmers (I'm not :) )

Cell ID plugin - It could read and display cell id of serving cell or frequency or even distance to the cell u are on (could be intresting)

It could open loots of posibility with so big screen in smartphone.

Like old nokia network monitor.

I found celltrack (for symbian) as example .....

Is the anyone willing to think about it :?:

Probably it may not be worth the trouble, since so far I have not come across anything like that. However, I am also very VERY much interested..

There's a new app called CellTrack (http://celltrack.spv-developers.com) which lets you view the cell info, and potentially perform actions based on your location (that isn't implemented yet)
