Ok, folks.

more questions :)

Looking through the manual for the E200 I should have something called EmailWiz on the phone.

No matter how hard I look I cannot find it ! I can only assume previous user has removed from menus for some reason. How do I get this back on the phone please ?

Secondly, does anyone here use AOL and managed to get their mail to work on SPV phones (without using outlook or seding on to orage etc, etc) ?

I tried on my old E100 but never did work it out.

With regards to ringtones can anyone tell me how to add these on ?

I downloaded the one again that I had on my old phone, followed same as I did last time i.e. used sync to put the file in "Sounds" but the phone just insn't seeing it. Is this the right folder or do i need to put it somewhere else ?

Thanks

What Confucious said basically.

If the ringtone's in Storage Application Data Sounds and your old E100 played it, it should work on your E200.

The E200 will also play most MIDI formats.

Hi,

Thanks guys.

Yep, ringtone is in .wav and was fine on E100. Phone just refuses to see it on ringtone list.

Will take another look in Sync to see if I can convince it of file being there.

Thanks for the tip about MIDI files.

Re AOL. - thought that might still be the case. Never mind should be able to get around that via WAP as I know I can do this via their online Wap option for mail.

Re: Email Wizard.

Strange - read the other post and despite doing an Orange update yesterday with the phone for applications, ROM etc it didn't give me the option of this one anywhere. Will have another look on their site and see if I can find it.

Will also have another look at e-mail options too.

Hi All,

Well, still can't find Email Wizard on Orange's site but never mind.

For those people however that dio want to directly access their AOL mail then WAP works great.

Just log into AOL, select AOL Mobile from thier menus, select relevant phone (or if not listed - other type) and then follow instructions for the WAP link given as this is you full sign-in code needed for your mail box.

Once done, keep that noted in full.

Now go to phone and select Internet Explorer, from menu button then slecct "Add favourite",

Give it a name, type in the link in full given by AOL, store.

Provided you have GPRS and WAP enabled and set up then heypresto it should go to sign in when selected, then once signed in come up with AOL Mobile menu options, including read mail.

Hope that helps someone.
