Nifty Contact Companion for Outlook (Beta)

Outlook is a fantastic at managing your contacts, but there are a few areas where it could do with some help. This first release of Nifty Contact Companion focuses on easing integration with mobile devices.

Most PDA/Phone synchronisation tools only support synchronisation with your main contacts folder, this can be a problem for those with multiple contact folders. Nifty Contact Companion allows you to select any number of contacts from any number of contact subfolders, synchronising them with the main contact folder where Activesync or other can do their job.

Features include:

Simple category based contact selection for synchronisation

Two way synchronisation, ie Contacts folder to subfolder, subfolder to Contacts folder.

Done at the item level to avoid unnecessary synchronisation traffic.

Adds the original folder to the category of the contact so that it can be used to filter on the device.
