E-Mail Problems with 5600

I set up my phone to retrieve my POP3 email and I also have set it up to retrieve every half hour. Everything was fine for the first two weeks but I now notice that the phone has stopped retrieving email and the password set up page displays asking for my password. But when I type it in and select it to be saved, the ok button is not there, only menu and new. Therefore I can't save it and it appears again and again.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you turn off the phone, you need to manually send/receive again to start the process going again, once you turn the phone back on.

I get the password problem when my Trillian is checking my email at the same exact time. or when I am manually syncing my home pc outlook at the same exact time.
