Guest benjytrainer Posted December 20, 2004 Report Posted December 20, 2004 Hello I don't want to turn in to a generic advice-meister but ... I work for a mobile manufacturer, and the most frequent cause we find for this is where the battery connections are loose for whatever reason. It's unlikely to be the firmware since those sorts of problems are usually caught early in the development process. Therefore, I'd have a look if there is any play in the battery area, and the cover. Usually, the way our CS fix this is with the trusty "folded paper" - get some paper, and fold down to postage stamp size - place under battery, and then pop battery in ( depending on how battery fits in, and what size - I've not got an MPX220 yet so I can't say exactly ). Pop the cover on, and it should all lock in place - hey presto, problem solved. This issue is more commonly known as "the nokia problem", so don't worry no credit being taken here  cheers benj
Guest smartytron Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 well actually there is play in the battery area... i noticed that, but didnt think it was enough to allow teh contacts to disconnect, but i m willing to try your solution, or maybe i should call it "the nokia solution." thanks! m
