Where are the my contacts saved on the phone memory?

As above!

I want to do this update from Orange, but I don't want to lose any of my contacts. When I say contacts, I just mean names and phone numbers.

I tried looking through ActiveSync and looking in EVERY folder but couldn't find them anywhere!

Or!

Is there a way to copy all contacts from phone memory to SIM memory like there is on the Nokias?

The phones are saved in a database that cant be accessed in the way you want.

The best way to back up the contacts is to sync hte phone with the pc, using outlook to save the contacts

alternitively you can use the sim manager found under the accessories folder to move the contacts to sim - in sim manger - menu - contacts to sim

then select the contacts you want to move accross
